How it works
We collect the funds from sponsors and the event, then donate the money to the village.
This Year’s Fund Rasing Mission
This year, our focus is on funding village beautification projects that bring our community together while making Lake Ann more accessible and inviting.
The Village of Lake Ann is committed to enhancing the beauty, safety, and enjoyment of our shared spaces. Potential initiatives include extending sidewalks from downtown toward the Historical Society to improve pedestrian safety along Maple Street or developing the rail trail property into a welcoming walking trail and park. Nothing official has been decided, the village leadership will determine the best way to use funds to benefit the community.
All funds raised from the Cookie Challenge will be earmarked for village beautification. Your support helps fund materials, landscaping, improvements, and other enhancements to create spaces where neighbors can gather, walk, and enjoy the charm of our village. Every contribution directly benefits Lake Ann, helping make our village more beautiful, safe, and connected for everyone.

Fund Rasing Success in 2024
We raised $3,600 for Lake Ann Holiday Event Programming
This was enough to fund holiday event programming for 2 years! Much of our success was due to the donations of our generous sponsors. We hope to surpass this amount in 2025! This year, we are focused on raising money for village beautification.
Our village is small, about 150 households, which means our tax based and income for the village is small. Efforts like this can help fund projects that can improve the village for residents and visitors alike without raising taxes!
